Bankruptcy Practice

Many accountants and attorneys are unaware of the specific provisions of the Bankruptcy Code which allow for the discharge of personal income tax liabilities under certain circumstances.  Clients who have substantial tax liabilities with limited hope of ever having the financial resources to satisfy those liabilities often times can be granted an alternative to a lifetime tax debt.  This alternative, when warranted, can relieve the substantial burden resulting from an adverse tax examination or investigation.
